EVAL resins, ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer resins, are characterized by their outstanding gas barrier properties, including an excellent resistance to odor and flavor permeance, and their excellent processability. DENKA STYROL MW-1 (GP-PS)

DENKA STYROL MW-1 is a plastic resin that has excellent process ability, balanced properties and is easy to use. This resin has a wide range of applications such as home electric appliance parts, food containers, household items, toys, stationary goods, musical instruments and industrial components. MW-1 is the most advanced transparent type of polystyrene known in the market. This resin was developed by DENKA’s advanced polymerization technologies. The most remarkable feature of MW-1 is its high-strength, which is derived from its much higher molecular weight as compared to other polystyrene resins. Because its high molecular weight, MW-1 is applicable where other PS grades are insufficient; such as those applications where screws are required or where there is fitted parts. Also when using MW-1, it is possible to decrease the defective ratio which is caused by removal of parts from the mold.
