Wonderlite polycarbonate resin

WONDERLITE® polycarbonate, a polymer of Bisphenol A and Diphenyl Carbonate, is manufactured by the state-of-the-art non-phosgene melt process. This unique environmentally friendly process not only uses no toxic chemicals such as phosgene but also eliminates waste-water concerns compared to traditional polycarbonate production. Polyrex® Resin

Through heating up the styrene monomer, we can obtain solid polymer which is called General Purpose Polystyrene resin and also called hard resin. Generally speaking, ¡§General Purpose Grade” Polystyrene resin has the advantages such as glossy, transparent, and cheap … etc.

But to point at its disadvantages such as britteness brittle, and the poor chemical endurance…etc, it can sompound with other monomer to improve the quality and develop different kinds of products, such as: High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), Acrylonitrile-Styrene Copolymer: AS resin, Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene Copolymer: ABS resin, etc., resins.

Kibisan® Acrylonitrile-Styrene Resin

Due to the poor chemical-resistue of GPPS, Chimei added Acrylonitrile in Styrene to copolymerize the SAN resin, and is also called AS resin. SAN resin not only retains the transparency but also improves the chemical resistance and surface hardness. The natural appearance of SAN pellet is glossy and yellowish.
KIBISAN® is Chimei trade name of AS resin which is a copolymer of Acrylonitrile and Styrene. It was manufactured by Chimei continuous process. Meanwhile, SAN resin has the ggod transparency, high gloss, excellent chemical-resistance property, the high rigidity, the dimension stability and the outstanding high-heat character.
KIBISAN® resin is the best choice for cosmetics case, lighter, food container, battery shell and cleaner vessel. In fact, KIBISAN® is widely used in hundreds of consuming products all over the world. The products include all kinds of level, such as: high-heat class and transparency class commodities. In addition, KIBISAN® AS resin also has passed the UL and C-UL approval.
Currently, the major AS products are: PN-107,PN-117, PN-117C, PN-127, and PN-127H, etc., five kinds products of SAN.

TPE Resin

Chi Mei thermal plastic elastomer is a copolymer of styrene, and bitadiene. its linear and radical molecular has made it the characteristic of general rubber. Such as elasticity, adn physial charater but without vulcanizatiun. And its middle section is rubber phase, which contributes excellent elasticing, flow ability during processing, cold-resistane and can be injected like thermal-plastics. It is widely appied on sole,toys,asphale modifier instrument handle, and adhesives.

ACRYREX®PMMA Resin

Chi Mei ACRYREX® PMMA resin is a mature product that Chi Mei Corporation has accumulated more than 30 years of acrylic sheet manufacturing experience, introduced in US continual process, and used methyl methacrylate (MMA) as major raw material to develop successfully. It has excellent weather-resist and heat-resist character, and excellent transparency and gloss. Besides, it has stable physical, chemical, optical, and electical,etc., characters. It may be widely applied on electronic panel, mechanical parts, watch and clock shell, motorcycle and automobile indicator, tele communication material, insulation parts and sun glasses, etc.

KIBILAC® Acrylonitrile, Styrene, and Acrylate rubber resin

ASA is a copolymer of Acrylonitrile, Styrene, and Acrylate rubber. Technically, ASA maintains the characteristics of ABS and by switching the rubber to Acrylate rubber, ASA improves the weatherability of ABS and make a great leap to extend the applications of ABS, especially in outdoor purposes. With over 30 year experiences in developing ABS, KIBILAC®ASA inherits the good qualities and properties of POLYLAC® ABS. Weather endurance, long-term stability, color stability, and good compatibility with PC/PVC lead KIBILAC®ASA to wider usability and higher value, including scooter and automotive parts, constructions, outdoor sporting goods, garden parts, satellite dishes, E/E parts, bathroom appliances, etc. In addition, KIBILAC® ASA has the advantages of cost-saving and environment-protecting due to painting and electroplating are unnecessary for the end parts. Currently, KIBILAC® offers 3 grades, PW-957, PW-978B, and PW-997S.

ACRYSTEX®methyl methacrylate -styrene resin

ACRYSTEX® MS resin is a transparent copolymer that the major raw materials are methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene(SM). It has excellent transparency, optical property, weather-resist, easy to process, ting residual stress, lower water absorption¡K etc. In addition,customer can save more cost due to its specific gravity is lower than PMMA.
